Wen-Hua's history
The city of Taichung is located at the center of Taiwan, where the Taiwan provincial government used to be. In the early 80's the local community raised their voices for another women's high school. Wen-Hua High School, despite its co-ed style, was born as an answer to this voice in 1989. Today, Wen-Hua joyfully celebrates her 16th birthday. Wen-Hua was created in August 1989 as the "The Wen-Hua High School of the Taiwan Province", under the first principalship of Mr. Shih-Jong Chen. Wen-Hua continued to grow under the guidance of Mr. Rei-Rong Tsai (1995-1999), and Ms. Li-Chun Tsai (1999-2004). Wen-Hua was named “The National Wen-Hua High School) due to the political reform in 1990. Since August 2004, Wen-Hua High school has been under the leadership of Ms. Bao-Chin Wu.
Our Mission
	We take education to heart, offering love and respect for our students. Our foremost concern is our students, and we hope to satisfy the students' academic needs as well as personal growth. We value serving our students and faculty, as well as preserving the honor and tradition of Wen-Hua. We endeavor for continual development of our greatest potential, proper guidance and close interaction among teachers and students; and last but not least, we strive to help our students realize their future dreams. This is the mission of Wen-Hua, a very special a place, indeed.
